Tastes and Tales Food Tours, LLC – Participant Liability Waiver and Release
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY PURCHASING A TICKET OR PARTICIPATING IN THE TOUR, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS:
I, the undersigned participant, voluntarily agree to participate in a guided walking food tour (“Tour”) provided by Tastes and Tales Food Tours, LLC (“Company”), a Florida limited liability company.
1. Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that the Tour involves walking outdoors, crossing streets, entering third-party establishments (restaurants, shops, etc.), consuming food and beverages, and other activities that may pose inherent risks. These may include but are not limited to: slips, trips, falls, weather conditions, allergic reactions, foodborne illness, or other hazards associated with food tasting and walking in public areas.
I affirm that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in the Tour. I accept full responsibility for my own safety and the safety of any minor accompanying me.
2. Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Tour, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Tastes and Tales Food Tours, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and insurers (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death that may be sustained by me or my property while participating in the Tour.
This waiver applies to all claims, whether known or unknown, arising from the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3. Third-Party Establishments
I understand that the Company is not responsible for the operations, services, food preparation, or hygiene practices of any third-party restaurant or venue visited during the Tour. Any issues or claims arising from those establishments must be directed to them.
4. Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for communicating any food allergies or dietary restrictions to the Company at the time of booking. I understand that the Company cannot guarantee allergen-free environments or accommodations for all dietary needs.
5. Governing Law
This Release shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Citrus County, Florida.
6. Acknowledgment & Agreement
By purchasing a ticket or participating in the Tour, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to this Waiver and Release of Liability. This agreement shall be binding upon me, my heirs, successors, and legal representatives.
